Manama: His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, convened with more than 400 young men and women to commemorate Bahraini Youth Day. During the meeting, HH Shaikh Nasser emphasized the optimistic role that Bahraini youth play in shaping the nation’s future, driven by their vision, ambition, and the support of the Kingdom’s leadership.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Nasser highlighted His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s unwavering belief in the youth’s pivotal role in building a prosperous future for Bahrain. The session also underscored the support from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in empowering young people to become active partners in national development.
The virtual meeting, attended by key figures such as Ayman bin Tawfiq Al Moayyad, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister for Youth Affairs, was held under the theme ‘Unity Grows A Nation Rises’. It served as a platform for HH Shaikh Nasser to convey His Majesty the King’s greetings and appreciation for the youth’s dedication to the nation’s progress and protection.
HH Shaikh Nasser addressed the youth, calling them a force and a shield for Bahrain. He emphasized the importance of action over words, urging the youth to uphold Bahrain’s name through steadfastness and unity. His Highness acknowledged the challenges faced by the current generation, encouraging them to adopt strong stances and become heroes whose words are trusted.
His Highness further highlighted the importance of resilience and unity, encouraging the youth to become deeply rooted, unyielding individuals who grow stronger in adversity. He praised the youth’s contributions and volunteerism, asserting that their achievements are integral to Bahrain’s legacy.
HH Shaikh Nasser also emphasized the significance of communication and interaction among young people to foster creativity and impact. He affirmed his trust in Bahraini youth as national pride bearers and key architects of the nation’s future.
The youth participants expressed their pride in the meeting, recognizing it as a testament to the leadership’s commitment to listening to their voices. They committed to serving the nation, enhancing unity, and working towards a better future for Bahrain.
