Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Football Association (BFA), attended a training session for the national U-20 team ahead of their participation in the qualifiers for the 2027 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-20 Asian Cup. BFA Board members Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa Al Khalifa and Shaikh Salman bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa were also present at the session. According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali met with the team's technical and administrative staff and players at the FIFA Stadium. He urged them to perform well in the qualifiers and reflect the progress of Bahraini football. His Highness highlighted the importance of the upcoming stage, which demands high focus, seriousness, and strong enthusiasm. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali stated that the BFA places significant importance on the participation of national teams in international competitions. The association is providing all necessary support to prepare the team. His Highness expres sed his wishes for the team's success in the qualifiers and emphasized the importance of maximizing home advantage and fan support to achieve the best results.
