Manama: As part of the Kingdom of Bahrain's chairmanship of the 46th session of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Dr. Lulwa Rashid Shuwaiter, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, chaired the meeting of Undersecretaries of Ministries of Health of the GCC countries in Manama. The meeting was held as part of the preparations for the ministerial meeting of Their Excellencies and Highnesses the Ministers of Health. According to Ministry of Health - Bahrain, during the meeting, the Undersecretary expressed appreciation for the efforts undertaken by the General Secretariat of the GCC and the member states to support the progress of joint Gulf cooperation. She highlighted the importance of these meetings in enhancing health cooperation and advancing efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of health systems and services, aligning with the GCC countries' aspirations for sustainable development. The agenda included a review of health-related topics and discussions on the latest develo pments in these areas. The meeting also focused on the recommendations of technical committees and joint working groups, along with efforts to prepare draft resolutions and recommendations for submission to Their Excellencies and Highnesses the Ministers of Health.
