HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Congratulates Royal Guard on Winning Royal Rumble III.

Manama: His Highness Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard Special Force, extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa; His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister; and His Highness Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, on the Royal Guard team's victory in the Royal Rumble III. The Royal Guard team secured the title by defeating the Royal Engineers of the British Army 6-2 in the championship, held on Friday, November 28, and organised by the Bahrain Boxing Federation. According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad also congratulated Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). HH Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad attributed this achievement to the support of His Majesty the King for Bahraini sports, the efforts of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in advancing the sports sector, and the commitment of HH Shaikh Nasser and Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa in supporting athletes from the BDF. HH Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad commended the team for their spirit of competition and determination, which reflected the progress of Bahraini boxing and combat sports. HH highlighted the importance of boxing as a significant Olympic combat sport with a strong fan base, underscoring that organising tournaments fosters competitiveness and nurtures top tier athletes. HH Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad noted that the Royal Rumble III would further advance boxing in Bahrain, and wished the Royal Guard team continued success.
