Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, has issued Decision (6) of 2026 appointing a new board of directors for the Bahrain Esports Federation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the decision involves the appointment of Abdulrahman Abdullah Mohamed Hassan Mansoori as the chairman of the new board. The board's membership includes Shaikh Salman Humood Salman Ahmed Al Khalifa, Amna Ameen Mohammed Abdullah Al Amer, Zainab Ali Abbas Mohammed, Reem Ibrahim Mohammed Abdullah Janahi, Mohammed Khalid Mohammed Rashid Al Rowaihy, Ahmed Fouad Jaffer Abdulnabi Mohammed Al Shaikh, Hassan Adel Hassan Abu Idris, Sara Isa Abdullah Yousif Al Qais, and Alaa Abdulhussain Ibrahim Makki Yousif.
The Secretary General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and all concerned parties are tasked with implementing the decision, with each acting within their respective capacities. The decision is set to take effect from the date of its issuance.
