HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman approves scholarship plans for the ninth intake of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust

Manama, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, today approved the scholarship plan for the ninth intake of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, for the 2022-2023 academic year.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman highlighted the importance of prioritising education as part of the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman further highlighted the Trust’s efforts in supporting citizens with opportunities in higher education, providing students with diverse career paths to advance sustainable development.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman extended his congratulations to this year’s scholarship recipients, wishing them success in their educational journeys and in fulfilling their ambitions through higher education.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman commended various bodies and institutions for their contributions to supporting the trust’s goals.

On the occasion of the new academic year, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman also extended his congratulations to the Ministry of Education and members of the educational, administrative and technical bodies in schools and universities, wishing them success in achieving the Kingdom’s wide-ranging goals in the education sector.

For her part, the Secretary-General of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, Dr. Mona Mohammed Al Balushi, highlighted that a total of 70 scholarships have been offered for the 2022-2023 academic year, and that recipients will be contacted to complete the necessary procedures to activate their scholarships.

Since its inception, Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust has provided scholarships to a total of 316 students to study across 16 local and 4 international universities.
