HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Attends AUBH Graduation Ceremony

Manama: His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa attended the American University of Bahrain's (AUBH) graduation ceremony for its fourth cohort of undergraduate and master's students at the Exhibition World Bahrain. A total of 148 students graduated across a range of academic disciplines. According to Bahrain News Agency, Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, thanked HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah for attending the ceremony and congratulated the graduates on their academic achievement. She commended their hard work, dedication, and perseverance throughout their university studies, noting that they had demonstrated ambition and a strong commitment to learning and personal development. She highlighted the Kingdom of Bahrain's continued focus on human development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. She said Bahrain has placed great importance on investing in education, developing national capabilities, and empowering young talent to contribute to the Kingdom's progress and prosperity. Dr. Wafa Al Mansoori, Interim President and Provost of the AUBH, also thanked HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah for attending the ceremony. She emphasised that His Highness' patronage reflected the strong support given to higher education in Bahrain and served as an important incentive to continue developing an advanced educational environment based on academic excellence and innovation, while meeting labour market needs and supporting national development goals. Dr. Al Mansoori highlighted that since its establishment, the university has been committed to providing a comprehensive educational experience that responds to the evolving needs of the labour market. She noted that AUBH offers an environment that encourages creativity, research, and active participation, while helping students develop their academic, personal, and professional skills. She expre ssed confidence that the graduates would serve as ambassadors for the university and its values through the knowledge, responsibility, and ambition they carry into their future careers. HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah presented awards to distinguished students, including academic excellence awards for the top graduates from the university's various colleges, as well as special awards recognising outstanding academic achievement. A commemorative gift was also presented to His Highness on the occasion. The university graduated 148 students from a variety of academic disciplines, marking another milestone in its growth and reinforcing its role in preparing qualified national talent equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to contribute to Bahrain's key sectors. Academic Achievement Awards were presented to the top graduates from the Colleges of Business and Management, Engineering and Computing, and Media and Design, sponsored by the National Bank of Bahrain, Gulf Air, and Khaleeji Bank, respectively. Additio nal honours included the Beyon Award, a McLaren Racing training scholarship, and two one-year CERN training scholarships.
