Manama: Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, the closing ceremony of the Bahrain Aquatics Cup 2026 was held at Khalifa Sports City Swimming Pool, featuring participation from 380 swimmers representing 28 countries. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, was present at the ceremony.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali crowned the top three teams that excelled in the Bahrain Aquatics Federation Cup 2026 and honored winners across different categories. He expressed gratitude to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad for his patronage, emphasizing that the event underscores his commitment to fostering the sports movement.
