Rome, Higher Education Council Secretary General, HEC Board of Trustees Deputy Chair, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa met Italian Minister of University and Research Anna Maria Bernini, in the presence of Bahrain’s Ambassador in Rome Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al Baluchi.
The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and expanding joint cooperation in the fields of higher education and scientific research to cope with economic and educational visions in both countries.
Dr.Shaikha Rana stressed Bahrain’s keenness on reinforcing cooperation with all countries and attracting educational investments, in line with the 2030 Economic Vision,which was launched by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Dr.Shaikha Rana took stock of the history of education and academic achievements in the Republic of Italy, highlighting the importance of expanding cooperation through joint workshops and conferences.
