Higher Education Council (HEC) Secretary-General, Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, and Equal Opportunity Committee Chairperson Shaikha Dr. Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa chaired the Higher Education Council Equal Opportunities Committee meeting.
The secretary-general praised the committee’s efforts in promoting equal opportunities for all employees in the Higher Education Council, ensuring women’s needs are taken into account in all fields, and promoting gender equality.
She praised the role of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) headed by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and SCW President, for supporting gender equality and integrating women’s needs within the framework of equal opportunities.
The meeting discussed participation in the “Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Award for Bahraini Women Advancement” in its seventh edition.
