Manama: Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, received the medical committee of the Kingdom of Bahrain's Hajj Mission to review its preparedness to provide healthcare services to Bahraini pilgrims during the Hajj season. The minister emphasised the Ministry's commitment to supporting the medical committee and meeting its operational needs to ensure high-quality healthcare for pilgrims. She also commended the ongoing support and facilities provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to pilgrims, describing it as a key enabler for medical teams to carry out their duties effectively.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Jaleela highlighted the committee's dedicated efforts, noting its annual humanitarian and national role in serving pilgrims. She said that its participation reflects the Kingdom's commitment to ensuring adequate healthcare for all pilgrims. Dr. Ibrahim Farouk Obaid, Head of the Coordinating Committee for the Hajj Medical Mission, presented the operational plan for this year's Hajj season. He explained that the team includes doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals. Coordination is ongoing with the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, as well as relevant Saudi authorities, to facilitate the committee's work and ensure the best medical services for Bahraini pilgrims.
