Manama: Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the cancellation of all scheduled flights to and from Amman, Baghdad, Najaf, and Baku due to ongoing regional developments. The airline has specified that flights to Amman in Jordan will be canceled until June 16, 2025, while flights to Baghdad and Najaf in Iraq will be on hold until June 20, 2025. Flights to Baku in Azerbaijan will remain canceled until June 21, 2025.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the decision comes as a response to current developments in the region. Gulf Air emphasizes that the safety of its passengers and crew is the primary concern, prompting the temporary suspension of flights to these destinations.
Gulf Air acknowledges the inconvenience caused by the cancellations and assures passengers that it is collaborating with partners and relevant stakeholders to accommodate and reroute affected travelers to their final destinations.
