Manama: Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, has approved several decisions for licensing, expansion, and adding new stages to the services of a number of private educational institutions, as part of the ministry's support for private sector investment in education.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the approved decisions include licensing the establishment of "Jood Kindergarten" and the addition of Year 7 to Palms School, which will enable it to accept more students. Furthermore, Delmon Private School will now offer the intermediate stage, while New Generation Private School will incorporate the secondary stage, allowing both schools to expand their student intake.
The minister emphasised that expanding the establishment of educational institutions in both the public and private sectors is key to providing high-quality national education and offering suitable options for students and parents. He added that the ministry will continue to regulate and support private education in line with approved policy, which focuses on providing good education and promoting Bahraini identity through national values, especially religion, customs, traditions, and established norms.
