Manama: The Government Hospitals has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Batelco, a company under the Beyon Group, to implement cloud-based unified communication systems. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of technical infrastructure and support the digital transformation of healthcare services.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreement was signed by Dr. Mariam Adhbi Al Jalahma, Chief Executive Officer of Government Hospitals, and Maitham Abdullah, CEO of Batelco. Dr. Al Jalahma highlighted that the partnership is in line with the hospitals' strategy to develop both administrative and technical systems. This will be achieved through advanced digital solutions designed to improve service quality and coordination across various departments.
Maitham Abdullah emphasized Batelco's commitment to supporting critical sectors in Bahrain by providing cutting-edge communication technologies. These technologies are expected to significantly enhance operational efficiency and connectivity within the healthcare sector.
The agreement also opened discussions for potential future collaborations between the two entities in areas such as digital transformation, cybersecurity, and smart healthcare applications.
