Bahrain: The Joint Ministerial Meeting involving the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the Russian Federation was conducted via video conference. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, who is also the President of the current session of the Ministerial Council.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting saw participation from the Foreign Ministers of the GCC states, Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, the Secretary General of the GCC, Sergey Lavrov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan. The discussions focused on the Iranian aggressions directed towards GCC states and Jordan. Additionally, the meeting reviewed the latest developments in the region, with a focus on exchanging views and efforts to bolster regional security and stability.
