Manama: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Ahmed Ismail Al Karawi, Charg© d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to Bahrain, and conveyed to him the Kingdom of Bahrain's unequivocal condemnation and strong denunciation of the continued hostile drone attacks launched from Iraqi territory against the Kingdom and Gulf Cooperation Council member states.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, delivered a formal note of protest to the Iraqi Charg© d'Affaires in this regard. The Ambassador underscored the urgent and responsible obligation of the Republic of Iraq to address these threats and attacks in full accordance with relevant international and regional laws and conventions. He further affirmed that the Kingdom reserves its full right to take all necessary precautions and measures to safeguard its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
