Cairo: Ambassador Nawar Abdullah Al Mutawa, Advisor for Human Rights Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Member of the Arab Charter on Human Rights Committee (AHRC), took part in the 56th session of the Arab Permanent Committee on Human Rights, held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during the meeting, members were briefed on the AHRC's new structure, its vision and mission to enhance the human rights framework in the Arab world, as well as the efforts undertaken within the committee's scope of work.
Ambassador Al Mutawa also held a series of meetings with representatives of participating Arab delegations and organisations on the sidelines of the session.
