Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, praised the address by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during the final ten days of Ramadhan. He described it as a testament to His Majesty's vision and Bahrain's dedication to tolerance, peace, and solidarity, contributing to a nation marked by security and prosperity.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Zayani emphasized that the address, which coincided with the "Year of Isa Al Kabeer" celebration, underscores Bahrain's dedication to maintaining developmental achievements and fostering national loyalty and unity among diverse religious communities. He highlighted the visits of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to Al Fateh Grand Mosque, the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia in Awali, and various national institutions as demonstrations of these national values.
The Foreign Minister expressed pride in Bahrain's diplomatic efforts and its success in countering Iranian attacks, attributing this to the vigilance of its armed forces and the solidarity with Gulf states and other nations. He reiterated Bahrain's status as a secure kingdom, committed to peace and coexistence under the leadership of His Majesty the King and the directives of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Dr. Al Zayani also noted Bahrain's active role in regional and international security, including its non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council for 2026-2027 and participation in the Board of Peace for Gaza reconstruction. He expressed hopes for continued security, progress, and prosperity for Bahrain and the international community.
