Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, commended His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's address on the final ten days of Ramadhan, noting its emphasis on national principles, coexistence, tolerance, and respect for religious diversity.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Speaker Al Musallam highlighted His Majesty the King's condemnation of the unprecedented attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain and other countries, reaffirming the Kingdom's commitment to peace, cooperation, and good neighbourliness.
He expressed pride in the Bahrain Defence Force and other agencies for their readiness and role in protecting national security and citizens.
Speaker Al Musallam also noted the loyalty of Bahraini citizens to the nation and leadership, the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the appreciation of Gulf and international partners for Bahrain's policies.
He concluded that Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, will continue to overcome challenges, uphold moderation, and contribute to regional and international security and stability, while advancing national development and reform.
