BJA President Commends HM King’s Address on Final Days of Ramadhan

Manama: The Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) commended His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's address, delivered during the final ten days of Ramadhan, highlighting the Kingdom of Bahrain's national principles amid the serious challenges facing Bahrain and other regional and international countries.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Isa Al Shaiji, President of the BJA, said that despite the attacks on properties and facilities, His Majesty the King reaffirmed that Bahrain will remain a peaceful state that seeks cooperation and good neighbourliness, following its longstanding approach in relations with all.

He noted that His Majesty the King expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Bahrain Defence Force and all relevant agencies, whose readiness, vigilance, and national responsibility thwarted the attacks and preserved the safety of the Kingdom, its citizens, and residents.

Al Shaiji emphasised that Bahrain will continue to demonstrate strength through its principled positions and the leadership of His Majesty the King in addressing challenges, regardless of their magnitude. He highlighted the Kingdom's significant international standing, reflecting global recognition of His Majesty the King's commitment to the principles of peace, coexistence, and tolerance in relations with the international community. This respect was evidenced by communications received from regional and international countries, confirming their full support for Bahrain and its stability.

He further noted that such widespread international solidarity is consistent with Bahrain's established reputation for respect and esteem, built upon His Majesty the King's initiatives to cultivate constructive and positive relations with other states, founded on mutual respect, peace, tolerance, coexistence, and cooperation.

Al Shaiji added that His Majesty the King's address, delivered in the context of these circumstances and challenges, reflected the Kingdom's values and principles, its civilised character, and its distinctive identity, demonstrating resilience and stability through its leadership, the loyalty of its people, and their strong attachment to the Kingdom, thereby enabling Bahrain to withstand various threats.
