Foreign Minister Engages in Call with Indian Counterpart to Discuss Bilateral Ties


Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone call with Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India. The conversation focused on the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and India, exploring avenues to enhance cooperation in various domains.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministers reviewed the outcomes of the Fifth Bahrain-India High Joint Commission Meeting, which took place in New Delhi on November 3. This meeting was pivotal in evaluating the progress of bilateral engagements and charting future initiatives.



The dialogue also included an exchange of views on the latest regional and international developments. Both ministers deliberated on efforts to maintain regional security and stability, addressing matters of mutual interest.
