Foreign Minister Discusses Bilateral Relations with UAE Ambassador

Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Fahad Mohammed Kardous Al Ameri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the Ministry's headquarters. Both sides reviewed the longstanding ties and growing cooperation between the two nations. They discussed further enhancing bilateral relations in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, to serve the mutual interests of both countries and their people.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Zayani and Ambassador Al Ameri also exchanged views on current regional developments. Discussions focused on Gulf Cooperation Council efforts to maintain coordination and joint cooperation in response to the repercussions of Iranian aggressions against GCC states, ensuring the continued security and stability of the region.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Nawar Abdullah Al Mutawa, Acting Chief of the Gulf Cooperation Council Affairs Sector.
