UAE President Meets Albanian Prime Minister to Discuss Bilateral Relations

Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, received Edi Rama, Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania.

According to Bahrain News Agency, both sides discussed UAE-Albania relations and means to further develop them across various domains. These include the economic, commercial, renewable energy and technology sectors, as well as other priority development areas for both countries, in a manner that serves their mutual interests and achieves prosperity and development for their peoples.

HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Prime Minister Rama affirmed their commitment to continue strengthening UAE-Albania relations, which are witnessing ongoing development. They also reiterated their commitment to expanding the base of development partnerships, contributing to sustainable economic growth and meeting the aspirations of both peoples for further progress and prosperity.

They also reviewed developments in the Middle East region and their implications for regional security and stability, as well as their impact on international maritime security and the global economy.

The meeting discussed the Iranian terrorist attacks targeting civilians, facilities and civilian infrastructure in the UAE and several countries in the region. The Albanian Prime Minister reiterated his country's condemnation of these attacks, as they constitute a violation of international laws and norms and undermine regional security and stability.
