First Deputy Speaker Engages with Singapore Economic Development Board to Discuss Bahrain’s Economic Progress

Manama: Abdulnabi Salman, First Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives, held a meeting with the Singapore Economic Development Board as part of the parliamentary delegation's visit to Singapore. He outlined Bahrain's ongoing developmental efforts, strategic economic initiatives, and government-led projects.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the First Deputy Speaker highlighted Bahrain's positive economic indicators and tangible achievements resulting from the implementation of the Economic Recovery Plan. He noted that Bahrain's commitment to advanced development initiatives continues to drive comprehensive national progress under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The First Deputy Speaker emphasised that these efforts, led by the government under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, align with Bahrain's Economic Vision 2050. The visit aimed to explore Singapore's approach to state budget management and gain insights into its investment and economic strategies.

He highlighted that Bahrain's economic recovery progress is the result of integrated national efforts and an effective partnership between the legislative and executive authorities. He underscored that this collaboration is key to achieving the country's development objectives, enhancing productivity, and driving sustainable economic growth, which serves as a cornerstone of Bahrain's broader development agenda.
