Kuwait city: Yousif Abdullah Al Humood, Undersecretary for Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, led Bahrain's delegation to the seventh ministerial meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council Economic and Development Affairs Authority's Permanent Preparatory Committee, held in the State of Kuwait. The meeting saw participation from Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the GCC.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting addressed several agenda items focused on enhancing joint Gulf economic cooperation and advancing sustainable development within GCC states. Discussions included the timeline for the roadmap of initiatives and projects aimed at achieving economic unity, free trade negotiations, and monitoring the implementation of the GCC economic model along with related studies and projects.
Participants also evaluated key economic indicators and developments within GCC states and assessed the progress of initiatives and programmes undertaken by the Economic and Development Affairs Authority's office.
