Damascus: Dr. Amjad Badr, Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform of the Syrian Arab Republic, received Waheed Mubarak Sayyar, Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps in Damascus and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Syria. Dr. Badr emphasised Syria's keenness to strengthen relations and enhance agricultural cooperation with Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Ambassador Sayyar congratulated Dr. Badr on his appointment, wishing him success in his duties. The meeting also discussed means to advance bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector between the two countries.
