Al Ula: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, visited Al Ula in Saudi Arabia. He was accompanied by Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; and Khalid bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Finance Minister emphasized the significant role of tourism in driving sustainable economic growth and attracting investment to the region. He praised Saudi Arabia's efforts in transforming Al Ula into a world-class tourism destination, highlighting its contribution to economic diversification and growth across the GCC.
The itinerary included tours of key historical and cultural sites, such as Al Jadidah Arts District, which provides an immersive cultural experience, and the Old Town of Al Ula, renowned for its historical buildings and landmarks. The delegation also visited the Old Town market.
