Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on a range of diplomatic and cultural events that took place over the past 24 hours. According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal. In another significant gesture, HM the King extended congratulations to the President of Lithuania on the occasion of their Independence Day. His Majesty was also congratulated by members of the Royal Family and senior officials, an honor shared with His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) President praised HM the King's patronage of the Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference and later met with the Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Elders. On the legislative front, the Shura Council's legislative committee reviewed a draft law concerning fisheries subsidies. In the field of technology and innovation, the Nasser Scientific and Technical Centre launched the Cybersecurity Guardians Hackathon.
