Bahrain’s Recent Diplomatic and Cultural Activities Highlighted in Daily Newspapers

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on a range of diplomatic and cultural events that took place over the past 24 hours. According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal. In another significant gesture, HM the King extended congratulations to the President of Lithuania on the occasion of their Independence Day. His Majesty was also congratulated by members of the Royal Family and senior officials, an honor shared with His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The sports and cultural scene in Bahrain also saw prominent activities. His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid attended the conclusion of the two-star Nasser bin Hamad International Showjumping Championship. Meanwhile, the Interior Minister was present at the finale of the Ministry of Interior Bahrain Tennis Challenger. In diplomatic engagements, the Foreign Minister met with his Ukrainian counterpart, while the Works Minister received the Turki sh ambassador. Additionally, the President of the Bahrain Culture Authority met with the Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO). Bahrain's commitment to international humanitarian efforts was underscored by its participation in a high-level conference for Sudan. The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) President praised HM the King's patronage of the Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference and later met with the Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Elders. On the legislative front, the Shura Council's legislative committee reviewed a draft law concerning fisheries subsidies. In the field of technology and innovation, the Nasser Scientific and Technical Centre launched the Cybersecurity Guardians Hackathon. Adding to the cultural vibrancy, the Royal Humanitarian Foundation organized its annual productive families exhibition at Dragon City.
