Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, met with joint financial services directors. The minister emphasised the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination with ministries and government entities to implement and adopt plans and programmes that improve government performance and achieve desired goals efficiently and effectively, thereby enhancing financial performance.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister pointed out that achievements at various levels reflect Team Bahrain's commitment to excellence and creativity in every domain. He highlighted the need to continue working as one team to realise further accomplishments and aspirations. These, he added, support the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The minister also underscored the need to adhere to approved financial systems and policies. He emphasised the importance of developing these in line with best practices to ensure financial sustainability. He further noted the value of adopting innovative ideas and initiatives aimed at improving the quality of government services, to meet the set objectives and aspirations.
