Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, sent a cable of congratulation to Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of Pakistan's National Assembly, and Yusuf Raza Gilani, Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, on their country's Independence Day. Al Musallam expressed his well wishes and highlighted the strong relationship between Bahrain and Pakistan.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Musallam also sent a similar cable to Saqib Rauf, Pakistan's Ambassador to Bahrain. This gesture reflects the ongoing diplomatic ties and mutual respect between the two nations. The communication of congratulatory messages on such occasions is seen as a reinforcement of the friendly relations that Bahrain maintains with Pakistan.
