Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, engaged in discussions with Abdullah Nasser Lootah, UAE Assistant Minister for Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange. The meeting underscored the commitment of both nations to enhance their collaborative efforts across various sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was also attended by Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Economic Development Board, and Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company. The presence of these key figures highlighted the significance of the dialogue in fostering economic ties.
During the discussions, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa highlighted the deep-rooted historical relations and robust connections between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. He emphasized the ongoing growth of cooperation between the two countries across multiple domains. The minister remarked that the Bahrain-UAE relations are a reflection of the support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
Shaikh Salman also stressed the importance of building on the progress achieved in joint cooperation and coordination. He highlighted Bahrain's commitment to strengthening economic and financial collaboration while expanding avenues for expertise and knowledge exchange, all in support of sustainable development in both countries.
