Manama: The Board of Directors of the Bahrain Space Agency convened for its fourth-quarter meeting, chaired by Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, who serves as the Deputy National Security Advisor and Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Khalid bin Ali began the meeting by extending congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, in celebration of Bahrain National Day and the Anniversary of His Majesty the King's Accession to the Throne. He also praised the achievements of the agency across different sectors, attributing these successes to the comprehensive development efforts led by His Majesty the King. The agency's executive management and staff were acknowledged for their contributions to advancing Bahrain's space sector on a regional and international scale, in alignment with the royal vision under the guidance of Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council.
During the session, the board assessed the progress of the agency's ongoing projects, examined performance indicators, and discussed objectives and initiatives for the upcoming year. Future strategies were also explored to further bolster Bahrain's standing in the expanding space sector.
