Al jasra: Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Amana Healthcare Bahrain was officially inaugurated at its new facility in Al Jasra. The ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including Lieutenant General Doctor Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), along with senior leaders from Bahrain's healthcare and governmental sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the inauguration was marked by the presence of Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, and other key stakeholders. The event highlighted the collaboration between public and private sectors, with representatives from the UAE-based M42 Group and other senior officials from Bahrain's healthcare landscape.
Amana Healthcare Bahrain is the Kingdom's first hospital dedicated to specialized long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation. It aims to enhance patient flow, expand care continuum, and strengthen the national healthcare system in line with Bahrain's Vision 2030. The ceremony included keynote speeches by the SCH Chairman, Mumtalakat CEO, and Dr. Mohamed Ameen AlSaati, CEO of Amana Healthcare Bahrain. This was followed by the unveiling of the inauguration plaque and a tour of the facility's advanced medical spaces.
The SCH Chairman emphasized that the inauguration signifies a major advancement in the Kingdom's healthcare system, aligning with the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and directives of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The CEO of Mumtalakat highlighted the project's role in building strategic partnerships and supporting initiatives that impact the community positively.
Dr. AlSaati noted that the inauguration is a significant milestone for both Amana Healthcare Bahrain and M42, reflecting a commitment to enhancing healthcare across the region. The partnership between Mumtalakat and M42 aims to advance healthcare in Bahrain, aligning with national priorities to strengthen the sector.
