Manama: Lieutenant General Tariq Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security, welcomed Eric Giraud-Telme, the French Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, along with Christophe Houz©, Head of Commercial Operations at AP-HP International. The meeting was also attended by Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Interior Ministry Undersecretary, and Major-General Adel Abdullah Ameen, Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources.
According to Bahrain News Agency, discussions during the meeting centered on cooperation in the field of emergency services. The parties explored ways to exchange expertise and international best practices to enhance the development of National Ambulance services and emergency medicine in Bahrain. They also examined strategies to improve rapid-response capabilities and the overall quality of services.
The French delegation had the opportunity to visit the National Ambulance Centre. During the tour, they were briefed on procedures for handling emergency calls, rapid-response strategies, and the critical role first responders play in early intervention. Additionally, the delegation reviewed the latest equipment and technologies incorporated in national ambulance vehicles, highlighting the advancements in emergency medical services.
