Muscat: Export Bahrain participated in the "Entrepreneurship and International Expansion - The Kingdom of Bahrain Experience as a Model" Forum, under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The forum was organised by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the Sultanate of Oman, in coordination with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Riyada) and the Bahrain-Oman Entrepreneurs Association.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during the forum, Export Bahrain showcased Bahrain's SME support ecosystem and export-readiness journey, covering readiness assessment, capability development, target market identification, export planning, and facilitating access to international buyers and partners.
The presentation also highlighted trade relations between Bahrain and Oman, key products traded between the two markets, market similarities, and available trade and export opportunities, highlighting promising areas for strengthening business cooperation and partnerships between the two countries.
Fatima Aziz Rostam, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Export Bahrain, highlighted the importance of cooperation between Export Bahrain and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Riyada) in exchanging market knowledge and expertise and strengthening SMEs' readiness to expand into regional and international markets.
Export Bahrain's participation reflects the Kingdom's commitment to strengthening economic cooperation with the Sultanate of Oman, supporting SMEs, and creating new pathways for their growth and expansion into international markets.
