Manama: The Ministry of Education took an active role in the Bahrain Sports Day, organizing a variety of sports and health awareness activities throughout its departments, sectors, and educational institutions. This initiative saw participation from officials, employees, and students, highlighting the ministry's commitment to promoting physical activity and wellness.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, praised the sporting successes achieved by Bahraini youth under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The support from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, was also acknowledged as instrumental in these achievements.
The minister further expressed appreciation for the contributions of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. Additionally, the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, were recognized. The Ministry of Education's role in developing school sports was also commended, illustrating a comprehensive approach to fostering athletic development within educational settings.
