Education Minister honours Showcase Incubator Schools

Nine Bahraini Government educational institutions have been recognized by the Microsoft Showcase Incubator Schools.

The scheme aims to implement advanced digital technology to transform the classroom experience, promote digital empowerment and incorporate latest innovative technologies to outcomes.

Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi honoured the school administrations for the international achievement and praised their dedicated efforts. Undersecretary for Policies and Strategies Nawal Al Khater attended.

He underlined Bahrain’s online learning strides thanks to the King Hamad Schools of the Future Project and the digital empowerment scheme which contributed to bolstering sustainable remote learning during the pandemic.

He reported over 67 million visits from Bahrain and abroad to the ministry’s portal (EduNet) last year, adding the Microsoft 365 accounts had been provided to all the affiliates, including teachers and students.

The Microsoft Showcase Incubator School are: Hidd Secondary Girls’ School; Al Malkiya Primary Intermediate Girls’ School; Naseeba bint Kaab Primary Girls’ School; Halima Al Saadiya Intermediate Girls’ School; Religious Institute Primary Boys’ School; Zenubia Intermediate Girls’ School; Al Shurooq Secondary Girls’ School; Al Andalus Primary Girls’ School and Saar Secondary Girls’ School.
