Education Minister endorses allocated scholarships

Education Minister, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi today endorsed the allocated scholarships and study grants for the academic year 2021-2022.

On the occasion, the minister extended sincere thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his constant support for the Education Ministry to enable it to deliver the best educational services for all students.

Dr. Al-Nuaimi indicated that outstanding high school graduates from public and private schools with a GPA of 95% or more had received scholarships, while those with 90%-94.9% had received tuition-fees scholarships.

He added that the Education Ministry had not held an exam for scholarship as usual due to the coronavirus precautionary health measures and granted scholarships based on the students’ desires and GPA.

Dr. Al-Nuaimi also stressed that the Education Ministry had taken into consideration the situation of a number of students with special needs, as well as those who have memorised the Holy Quran in full, in addition to a number of talented and distinguished students in school activities, wishing all students every success in serving the kingdom.

Head of Scholarships and Study Grants at the Ministry of Education, Dana Abdulla Buasli, called on students who had applied for scholarships to visit the Education Ministry’s website (www.moe.gov.bh), between 14/8/2021 and 21/8/2021, know the scholarships allocated for them and confirm them electronically by following the instructions, using the passcodes used for application.
