Education Minister Appoints New Leadership at University of Bahrain

Manama: Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Bahrain (UOB), has approved several appointments to leadership positions at the university.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the appointments aim to strengthen the university with qualified Bahraini professionals, all of whom are experienced members of the University of Bahrain's academic and administrative staff. The decisions include the appointment of Dr. Hussa Jassim Al Junaid as Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Israa Ahmed Wali as Vice President for Partnerships and Development, Dr. Ali Salman Ali as Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Abdullah Khaled Al Jalahma as Dean of the College of Business Administration, Dr. Dheyaa Abdullah Al Kaabi as Dean of the College of Arts, Dr. Mazen Mohammed Ali as Dean of the College of Information Technology, and Dr. Hussain Mohsen Al Arayedh as Dean of the College of Applied Education.

The minister emphasised that the Board of Trustees will continue promoting and appointing qualified Bahraini talent and investing in national human resources to support the university's advancement and enhance its standing at the local, regional, and international levels.
