According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid emphasized Bahrain's ongoing initiatives to develop the Open Prisons Programme, ensuring alignment with the highest international standards. During the meeting, he outlined key practices concerning the implementation of alternative sentencing and highlighted its positive impact on the criminal justice system. Both parties explored avenues to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in this field.
