Dubai: Brigadier Abdulaziz Al Rumaihi, Director General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, participated in the International Anti-Fraud Conference in Dubai from February 26-27. The event brought together experts to discuss fraud prevention strategies and international cooperation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Rumaihi commended Dubai Police's efforts in combating crime and enhancing security. He highlighted the conference's importance in addressing cyber fraud and security challenges through knowledge exchange and innovative initiatives.
On his part, Major Mohammed Al Abdullah, Head of the Financial Crimes Department at the Ministry of Interior, presented Bahrain's efforts in tackling cyber fraud, detailing modern fraud techniques, financial losses, legal actions, and awareness initiatives.
The conference covered key topics, including the global impact of fraud, emerging fraud methods, security challenges, and the role of artificial intelligence in fraud prevention.
