Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone call with Mohamad Hasan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia. Both sides discussed the strong Bahrain-Malaysia relations and explored means to enhance bilateral cooperation for the benefit of both countries and their peoples.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministers highlighted the importance of the recent visit of His Excellency Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, to the Kingdom of Bahrain. They noted its positive outcomes, which will further develop bilateral relations across various domains in a way that serves mutual interests.
The discussion also covered the latest regional and international developments and ongoing efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East that meets the aspirations of its peoples for security and development. Additionally, they exchanged views on issues of common interest.
