Manama: The Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International, and Energy Studies (Derasat) held a remote meeting with officials and researchers from Egypt's Cabinet Information and Decision Support Centre (IDSC) to strengthen research collaboration. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Osama El Gohary, Assistant to the Egyptian Prime Minister and Chairman of IDSC, alongside Dr. Hamad Ibrahim Al Abdulla, Derasat's Executive Director, focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) research.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the session highlighted Derasat's AI and renewable energy lab initiatives. Both parties emphasized the importance of leveraging AI expertise to support decision-making and innovation. Dr. Al Abdulla noted the critical role of AI research partnerships in enhancing research capabilities and developing innovative solutions, particularly in digital transformation.
