Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, has issued Edict (31) of 2025, mandating the transfer of directors of human resources from all government entities in the Kingdom to the Civil Service Bureau (CSB). This decision follows a proposal by the President of the Civil Service Bureau.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the edict details the transfer of specific individuals from their respective government entities to the CSB. These individuals will assume the position of Director of Human Resources and report to the Director-General of Shared Human Resources Services. The individuals affected include Amal Salem Mohamed Shaheen from Bahrain Technical College (Bahrain Polytechnic), Yousif Abdulaziz Abdulghaffar Al Alawi from Primary Healthcare Centres, Yaqoub Abdulla Yaqoub Al Sada from the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, Mohamed Saleh Ahmed Ashaer from the Ministry of Works, Maryam Ahmed Hussain Haidar from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, Omar Mahmood Abdulla Haji from the Labour Market Regulatory Authority, Eman Ibrahim Ali Qassim from Government Hospitals, and Ahmed Ali Yousif Sayyadi from the University of Bahrain.
The President of the Civil Service Bureau will assign these directors to oversee human resources management within any government entity in the Kingdom. The regulations governing Shared Human Resources Services staff will apply to them. Ministers and relevant officials are tasked with implementing the provisions of this edict, which takes effect upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
