Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, sent a cable of congratulations to Azzouz Nasri on his election as Speaker of the Council of the Nation of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. Al Saleh noted that Nasri's unopposed election reflects the confidence of council members and his parliamentary competence.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh commended Nasri's efforts to advance parliamentary work and emphasised the Shura Council's keenness to enhance cooperation with the Algerian Council of the Nation in support of shared interests. He wished Nasri success in his new role and expressed hopes for further prosperity and stability for Algeria.
