Deputy Chief of Police Participates in Security Committee Meeting of Bahrain-Saudi Coordination Council

Manama: Major General Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Police, led the Bahraini delegation at the fifth meeting of the working groups of the Security Committee of the Security Coordination Committee, which is part of the Bahrain-Saudi Coordination Council. The Saudi delegation was headed by Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al Isa, Director-General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Major General Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa highlighted the enduring and significant relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. He underscored the importance of these relations in bolstering security cooperation and integration between the two Kingdoms.

He pointed out the significance of the Security Committee working group meetings in broadening the scope of joint cooperation and coordination. This, he noted, contributes to improved joint security performance and the safeguarding of national achievements.

The meeting addressed various agenda items aimed at advancing security cooperation and coordination between the two nations. Discussions also covered the Security Committee's ongoing initiatives, along with a review of several new proposals intended to enhance cooperative efforts.
