Kuwait city: Dana Khamis Al Zayani, Undersecretary for planning and family reconciliation and alimony at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, participated in the 27th meeting of Gulf Cooperation Council Undersecretaries of Ministries of Justice, held in Kuwait.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on fostering joint judicial cooperation among member states. Key topics on the agenda included discussions on draft unified regulations aimed at combating discrimination, hate speech, and contempt of religions. Additionally, the participants examined draft regulations concerning cybercrime and human trafficking, highlighting the pressing need for collaborative legal frameworks in these areas.
The meeting also featured a review of a report concerning the 2025 sessions of the Committee of International Cooperation and Relations Directors at GCC justice ministries. The insights from this report will serve as a basis for preparing recommendations for the upcoming meeting of GCC Ministers of Justice, underscoring the continuous efforts to enhance legal and judicial cooperation across the region.
