Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,937.05 points, marking an increase of 13.66 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to the rise in the communications service sector, financial sector, and material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw an uptick, closing at 911.69 points, which is 11.48 points higher than its previous closing. Results indicated that 70 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,423,090, amounting to BD 324,488.
Investors showed a strong preference for the financial sector, which accounted for 75.32% of the total value of securities traded.
