Manama: The Ministry of Works has announced that resurfacing works on the Sh. Isa bin Salman causeway will require the closure of the fast and middle lanes for eastbound traffic leading to Muharraq. As a result, only one lane will remain open for traffic movement.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the closure will be in effect over the weekend, starting from Friday, July 24, 2026, at 12:00 am, until Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 5:00 am. All road users are urged to adhere to traffic rules to ensure the safety of everyone during this period.
