Manama: Dr. Khaled Ahmed Al Lanqawi, Director General of Nature Reserves Affairs at the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE), recently met with Yousef Muhammad Buzboon, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Society for Tolerance and Coexistence of Religions (Ta'ayush). The meeting underscored the Kingdom of Bahrain's commitment to fostering a culture of tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Lanqawi emphasized the Kingdom's dedication to upholding humanitarian principles under the guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The Kingdom continues to prioritize respect for religious and cultural diversity.
Dr. Al Lanqawi praised Ta'ayush for its role in promoting dialogue and understanding among different religions and cultures. This dedication reflects Bahrain's civilisational identity and aligns with the SCE's mission to collaborate with civil society organizations in achieving national goals.
